Ryenn Gaebler: Hi everyone, this is Ryenn Gaebler, a Client Success Manager at Anderson Technologies. And with me today is Amy Anderson. She’s one of the Principals. And we’d like to invite you to a webinar that we are hosting on December 16th, at 11am central, called Your Secret Weapon in the War Against Cybercrime.

Amy Anderson: So, Ryenn is doing this webinar jointly with one of our partners Datto. They’re an enterprise level provider of all kinds of cybersecurity tools that we rely on heavily. We thought it would be nice for them to do it together. Can you tell us a little bit Ryenn, about the webinar? And what to expect? Is it really worth your time?

Ryenn: A common misconception for small and medium sized businesses is they don’t think that they are at risk for a cyber attack. But it’s actually the opposite. Most of the time, cyber criminals are not necessarily going to target larger companies, because they assume that they are already heavily protected in the cybersecurity realm. So small and midsize businesses are at a very high risk of cybercrime.

Amy: Pause a minute there, Ryenn, I’m a business owner, and we’re in technology. I have to admit, five years ago, I thought that might happen to me. Three years ago, I thought, Oh, we better really be protected, because the chances are much more likely. But today, I have–and I’m an eternal optimist–I’ve completely switched my mentality. It is not if but when. And we here at Anderson Technologies, we have a whole system in place for when the cyber criminals attempt to penetrate our doors.

Ryenn: During this webinar, you’re all going to learn about real life experiences of what downtime truly looks like for our organization. We will also share a real life story of a client that we helped during a ransomware attack.

Amy: And that’s a really interesting one. Yes, I don’t want to give it away. But the the owner had no idea it was going on. So you’ll you’ll want to stay tuned for that. And then one of the things that you might want to know is we will be giving a way a $500 gift card just in time for Christmas.

Ryenn: You could walk away with a plan on how to set up a business continuity plan, but you can also win a $500 gift card. We hope you will be able to join us on December 16th.

Amy: We really encourage you if nothing else, just get there. Get the beginning of it so that you can start planning your response. I hope to see you there.
